Design & BrandHomework

LSD Promotions

Before we meet for your Design & Brand Workshop, we'd love you to work through three short sections.

Please complete them together with everyone who'll have a say in the brand. Agreeing internally beforehand means we can spend the workshop shaping your brand, not debating it.

There are no wrong answers. The more honest and specific you are, the closer our first design direction will land.

Your homework

Three sections to complete before the workshop.

01

Name & Direction

Are you keeping current name or changing the company name.

02

Audiences & Tone of Voice

Who the brand needs to reach, and how it should sound to each of them.

03

Inspiration & References

The looks you admire, and the ones you'd rather avoid.

01

Name & Direction

The big question first: are we evolving what you have, or starting something new?

You've chosen us to help develop a brand identity that reflects the heritage, quality and ambitions of a company you are rightly proud of.

Given the ambitions you shared in the Good Stuff workshop, how far does the brand need to move from where it is today?

What should happen to the name?

If a new or adapted name is on the table, what ideas do you have?

List any names you are considering, and any you've already ruled out (and why).

02

Audiences & Tone of Voice

Who the brand needs to speak to, and how it should sound to each of them.

Should the brand speak differently to each audience?

Any language or accessibility needs we should design for?

For example, audiences who don't speak English as a first language, or who'll mostly meet you on a phone.

03

Inspiration & References

The looks you admire, and the ones you'd rather avoid.

Name up to three brands, websites or products whose look you admire.

Any industry. Tell us what specifically you like about each.
